Don't buy real estate in Los Angeles, California!
I don’t know about you, but the thought of earthquakes, droughts,
floods, tsunamis, mudslides, sinkholes, and wildfires scare me beyond
belief. If I could choose anywhere in
the United States to buy a home, the place I would avoid the most would be Los
Angeles, California. The city has
experienced more of these kinds of natural disasters than I can even
comprehend.
The San Andreas and San Jacinto Faults run through Riverside
County, among MANY others, which makes earthquakes a common place “thing” to happen in the city of
LA.

I don’t think there really is anyplace in the world that is
immune from natural disasters. Even here
in Elko, we have experienced earthquakes, floods, droughts, and wildfires. But, I will keep my wide open spaces and rarely
occurring natural disasters!
